Weekend therapy.

What an exciting and productive weekend it's been! Carlos and I are working together to put our home in order and I couldn't be more satisfied with the progress. Slow, but steady. Coming back to London after our wedding, we spent the first month having friends visiting and although we felt so thankful receiving all their love, I must say I felt exhausted. This month, we are finally taking as many weekends possible to recharge ourselves and re-organise our little home. Today, I actually felt that I am getting back into the groove after almost two years: cleaning my wardrobe, propagating my plants, enjoying a nice meal with my husband. That's a new one!

We live in a very small flat, so everything needs to be very well organised otherwise we are bumping into things all the time. And this is where my OCD kicks in. I am totally flexible as long as everything is exactly the way I want it. Carlos is always asking how can I do it. Originally I thought I was multitasking, but after careful consideration I came to the conclusion that I am certainly not. For the very simple reason that I am obsessed with finishing a task before I start with a new one. Now if multitasking meant finishing multiple tasks in a single day then maybe I could be doing that too.

After enjoying the aromas of my hot coffee earlier this morning, botanical picked me up! I dived into propagating my pileas again! I still remember how excited I was the first day I saw my Pilea. And up to date I still get the same feeling whenever I see how she grows. After re-planting my baby stems, I finally got to use my beautiful gift from MINIMUM Design; my four sustainable 3D printed mini planters. I just love them and the result is super cute! I can't but thank the showery weather for keeping me inside today. Nothing better than the sound of heavy rain while being in your warm and cosy home!

This year in tropical London we received an unexpectedly huge amount of rain at random days and hours. While most of the day today seemed sunny, a sudden rain inspired me to fearlessly improvise in my kitchen. The result, chicken bulgur wheat with courgette and vegetables. Surprisingly delicious!

I love how the longest days are the ones we are slowly living through them. Every moment counts, and when you 'multitask' there are endless moments in them.
